Caprotti Black 5

This model makes the Caprotti valve gear versions of the versatile LMS Black 5 numbered in the 44738 – 44757 series.  To keep the price as low as possible we may release this as two different kits: one for the plain bearing series (44738-44747) and one for the roller bearing series (44748-44757). The latter kits will include both single and double chimneys.

Available early 2026. We hope that kits will be available for the Guild Kettering Show but Wigan is more likely.
